Beausoleil Top/Dress sewing pattern was made by Itch to Stitch Patterns. It includes an additional large format file (size A0 paper) that you can send to your print shop to print!
I am not a big fan of open shoulder sleeve tops/dress. But I am really glad that I tested for Beausoleil even though its focus point is the “cold shoulder” . Testing this pattern changed my point of view about this style. Now I’m inlove with “cold shoulder” . Not only for cute looks but it is suitable for summer time to get some fresh air on your shoulder.

Happy sewing, lovely people!
I am happy that the summer breeze is already here.. I’ve been waiting for this time of the year so I can wear short pants, sleeveless top/tunic and maxis.. Thank God that the long wait is over! Yes, I’m a summer person who wishes it is summer all year round.
Let me share you one of the tunics I will be enjoying to wear this year. This is the Summer Breeze Tunic.
The Summer Breeze Tunic released by Wardrobe by Me is an easy little sleeveless summer tunic with a hi-low ruffle hem, a front slit, bias cut band at the neckline, and binding inside the armscye. It is designed for light weight woven fabric. The best result is achieved with a nice soft drapy fabric. Jersey can be used, but be sure to size down for a nice fit.

I’m pretty sure, you will love this tunic.. It looks really cute.
is an interesting maxi skirt. At first, I only intend to wear it like a classic maxi skirt.
The Designer Stitch
owner, Ann Grose, was happy with my creation but she requested me to install ribbons inside the skirt and wear it with ribbons tied together underneath the skirt. I agreed and I knew it’s only for pictures but the dramatic look of this skirt with tied ribbons inside it changed my point of view. Wow! It is much better than wearing it like a classic maxi skirt! You will see what I mean.

The Amelia, which is design by Bella Sunshine Designs, is such a sweet dress designed to accentuates the body. No matter what size you wear, this garment will certainly make you noticeable. The empire waist gives this flattering effect. The knit bodice can be paired with knit or woven (Mine is all knit.) . Not to mention, BSD is also offering Amelia girls version.
This will be perfect all year round since it comes in sleeveless, short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve and long sleeve. It also includes multiple lengths: top length, knee length, dress length and maxi length..
This is the very first maxi dress I made for myself in my entire pattern testing career and I fell in love with it right after I tried it on.
Let me tell you more about this dress.
• Sizes 0 to 30
• Layers option
• A0 print shop file
• Trim patterns formatted for letter and A4
• 4-way stretch knit fabric with at least a 50% stretch but no more than 75% stretch for the bodice and band- Recommend a blend
of at least 5% spandex/lycra for good recovery. A similar or lighter weight spandex/lycra is recommended for the lining of similar
weight and stretch. Avoid loose or slinky knits as they tend to stretch and sag. The bodice is not recommended for 2 way stretch.
Cotton lycra is a perfect choice for the bodice.
• Knit or woven fabric for the skirt. Keep in mind a wide fabric is needed especially for the maxi version.
• 1/4” (0.5cm) Clear elastic to stabilize garment.
My finished project:
I don’t have a lot of maxi dress but for sure, this is just the beginning of my maxi creations.. I have a feeling that this pattern will be hacked. Yes, wait for my hack attack.
