La Paz Jacket for Fall

Hey! How are you,  beautiful people! Chilly weather is around the corner. I figured, I need something that will make me look chic and comfortable this football season.

I’ve been keeping an eye for this jacket for a long time and I kept thinking that it will be a great project to finish before Autumn 2019 arrives. I am talking about the wonderful La Paz Jacket made by Itch to Stitch.  It is a perfect timing! So, I joined this ITS Blog Tour 2019.

Being a part of this tour will give me an opportunity to showcase what  I’ve been visualizing for this pattern.

Let’s talk more about it. Here are the details that you need to consider when you plan to buy and make this spectacular pattern.

This jacket is designed to be sewn in a structured knit fabric. — Happy dance! I have this Ponte knit from my local thrift store and I knew this will be great for La Paz.

I think it took me a week to finish this garment. Thanks to ITS team for giving the bloggers a lonnnggg  time to prepare for this event!

Fast forwarding,  my project turned out amazing!! I  think  this is one of my favorite jackets.   Showing the pockets with flaps will make you look like a boss. Definitely a great outfit for office girls out there.

Okay, without further ado, here are my ways on how I am going to wear this jacket.

  1. With pocket flaps showing.   Wear it with white T-shirt, army green leggings and thigh high army green boots.

2.  Hide the pocket flaps and show the double-welt pockets instead.  Wear it with white t-shirt, army green leggings and I love to  fold the sleeves.                                                            I love baseball caps. Why not wear one?  In my opinion, it looks cool.
